In this studio-style class, young artists explore fresh approaches to classic fine art subjects through drawing, painting, and mixed media. Projects include modern animal portraits, colorful still life studies inspired by objects like a Rubik’s Cube, and layered acetate portraits that play with transparency and line.
 
Along the way, students will learn key fine art concepts such as composition, color relationships, and expressive mark-making while developing their own artistic voice in a relaxed, creative studio environment.
